I find one thing about the people here, that they just don't try to figure out, and study all about it, and all the techniques of how God could make a man well. They just believe it, and go on, and get well. So that, that's just the way that God wants us to do.
We could never figure it out. You can't figure God out; you've just got to believe God, isn't that right? There was two trees in the garden of Eden, one of them was knowledge, and the other one was Life. And when a man went off the Tree of Life, to eat the tree of knowledge, he always tried to figure things out from then on. He never has got straightened out yet. So we might as well go back to the Tree of Life and just believe. Is that right?
And think! The first bite he took, he destroyed him... He destroyed his fellowship with God. And every time he takes a bite off of it, he destroys himself. He bit off gun powder, kills his comrade. He bit off an automobile, kills more than all the wars. And now, he's got hisself a hydrogen bomb. I wonder what he's going to do with that. But every time he bites off the tree of knowledge, he separates himself from God, and from...
And God isn't known by knowledge; God's known by faith. By faith we believe God. How wonderful. And I hope that these few nights to be with you here, proves to be a great blessing to all of us.
