I live in a country where they have oak trees, scrub oak. And in springtime, the wintertime has passed by, and there is all the old dead leaves hanging on the oak tree. Now how we going to get some new leaves? You don't have to go out and pick off the old leaf. Just let the new life come in, and the old leaf drops off.
And that's the way it is with Christ. When Christ comes in, the world drops out, automatically. When people say that they're born of the Spirit of God, and still love the things of the world, the Bible said, "If you love the world or the things of the world, the love of God is not even in you." How can we do those things?
